Hi, has anyone had any luck getting any type of activation email after setting up nest thermostats? Our energy provider refuses to accept screen shots of the app or photos of the thermostat as proof of activation.

Thanks Jake, but that link is for new purchases. In DC, the rebate program requires an activation email that Google doesn’t provide. They also take a monthly email with energy savings info which Nest does provide but I can’t figure out how to get one before the program deadline. Very frustrating.

thanks. Turns out I had to contact Google Support. It would be really helpful if there were some kind of button or form to request activation confirmation without jumping through all of these hoops. And crazy that our rebate program here in DC (dcseu.com) requires documentation that isn’t standard. It would be great if Nest could partner with them to make the experience more seamless. Thanks for your help!

I had the same issue - try using the support chat, and they can send you an email confirming activation.
