Add Nest Thermostat to Google Home

Hello I have a Nest thermostat installed in my house which is added to the Nest app, I have the google home app and I am trying to add the Nest thermostat to the google home app but it won’t let me. 
I have tried using the QR code and six digits in the back but it doesn’t seam to find it. 

i also have a Google Nest thermostat added to my google home app, can I add that thermostat tot the Nest app? 

im basically trying to have both thermostats in one app. Please help

Thanks for posting. I understand that you want to have both Nest Thermostats in one app. In this case, let me explain, it depends on the type of thermostat the app that you can use to control your thermostat. Here you have the information:

• Nest Thermostat and Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen) can be controlled with the Home app.
• Control Nest Learning Thermostat (3rd gen or earlier) and Nest Thermostat E with the Home app after you migrate your Nest Account to a Google Account.
• The Nest app also offers full control and settings for the Nest Learning Thermostat (3rd gen or earlier), and Nest Thermostat E.

Please check the "Control your Nest thermostat with the app" article for detailed information and the "How to tell which Nest thermostat you have" to identify in the best way the Nest Thermostat that you have to select the correct app for the set up process.
