My thermostat is located in a warmer hallway area of the house. When set to 68, other rooms reach only 66-67 degrees. Is it possible to add +/- 2 degrees so that thermostat will show 68, when the temp at the stat is actually 70 degrees, thereby bringing the other rooms to 68 degrees?

Hey Nopeecme,
Thanks for reaching out and we're sorry for the delay.
There are times that your Google Nest thermostat could show a slightly different temperature reading. For instance, there may be a small temperature swing because your thermostat will wait to turn on your system until it gets to about 1ºF (0.5ºC) warmer or cooler than the temperature you have. This is to prevent unnecessary wear on your system and help save energy.
Check out this link to learn more.
Best regards,
Ryan
