After factory reset, can't connect to heatlink

Hi community! We moved into a new property with a Learning nest installed and fully functional. The Nest was linked to the previous tenants account so we performed a factory reset and have been trying to reset/set up. I've read through and found the reset instructions, tried the steps but we cannot get the Heatlink to connect - it will not blink blue no matter if we hold for 8/10 seconds or 20/30 seconds. I can't see any steps I haven't tried. Need some help please as we have a baby in the house!

You say a factory reset, which means you should have gone back the the start with the display saying Language at the start - correct? You then went through the set-up, and where did it fail?

The reset of the Heat Link needs to be done like this. Press the Heat link button for OVER 35 seconds plus, do not release at all untill the blue light shows a slow pulse. Ignor any pulsing before the 35 seconds plus, keep pressed. Longer than 35 seconds it makes no odds, just keep it pressed untill that slow pulse. When done, do that again, total of twice.

Now see if the display will pair. Should you get a H71 screen, look in Tech, scroll down to Heat link, and make a note of the 6 digit number. Check that against the number on the bottom of the Heat Link by the cover fixing screw.
