Yikes! I'm sorry to hear that the app freezes when you're trying to set the thermostat on it. Try to restart or reset your Nest Thermostat and restart your phone, then proceed with setting up your thermostat again on the app. You may also use another device—a phone, an iPad, or a tablet—to check if you'll be able to finish the setup using another device.
