App not available to select in settings

On setting up a Nest Learning Thermostat it says to connect your account select the Nest app screen in settings to give you the key code. 
There is no Nest app screen.

Hello Cityfan,

 

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community forum. I'd be happy to take a look into this for you.

 

A few questions: Is this the first time you're setting up your thermostat? If so, you can find the entry key on the thermostat device's settings page. Look for the Nest App option to scan the QR code or get the entry key. Make sure that it's connected to your Wi-Fi network first before adding it to the Nest app.
