App support for this thermostat is going away

You have just unilaterally decided to remove critical functionality from something we paid a lot to have.

This is not ok. Depriving us of this for your convenience is not ok.

If Google is forcing me to upgrade, what incentive do I have to stay in the Google ecosystem, knowing that planned obsolescence seems to be the name of the their game?
