Awful Auto Eco mode, along with awful help responses in the past

This has been mentioned in several previous posts all unsolved, also " locked" because it's clear there's no solution. Thus, the only solution might be to keep posting new complaints about the Gen 4 Auto eco mode.... There is NO way to disable it. The word DISABLE was chosen intentionally, I did NOT write "turn off". Several posts with this exact same complaint, all answered with unhelpful people asking questions rather than providing solutions. If you want to answer a question with a question like "did you turn it on" or "have you installed the Google home app" or  (my favorite) " Can you tell us more about what's happening and what version of the app you're using", then you don't belong in this forum trying to "help". If there is a way with the Gen 4 nest thermostat to disable auto eco, yes the word disable was used not "turn off",  DISABLE, auto eco mode no one can find it. If it is there it's way too difficult to find. The claims that these "smart" features save money is absolutely untrue. The number of times smart features kick in at the wrong times, unbeknownst to the owner, vastly overwhelms the number of times a " smart" feature kicks in in a helpful, cost effective way.
