Boiler demanding heat when 3rd gen Nest Learning thermostat is switched off

Had a Nest themostat for six months and it's worked ok. However today I noticed that the boiler (Baxi 600 condensing boiler is heating water even went both the central heating and hot water options are turned off in the Nest.

What can be causing that and what are the solutions?

I suppose the simple answer is get the installer back to fix the issue, as after 6 months they are still responsible, and for many years to come don't forget!!!

I would first prove the thermostat situation by removing the display from the back plate, and see if the boiler is still doing as you say. Without the display there is no set control, only the boilers settings. The only part connected would be the Heat Link, and unless the button is pressed to overide, then you should not have anything working from the Nest. Does that make sense?
