Both Temp sensors not staying connected.

When I use the app to select both sensors to be used the Nest Learning thermostat will unselect the living room sensor and only use the bedroom sensor.

Since it is naturally cooler in the bedroom it will end up overheating the living room.

Why do it keep unselecting the living room temp sensor?

Hi Dave-in-MD,

Thanks for reaching out. I understand that when you use the Nest app to check your Nest sensor, it unselects the living room sensor. I'm happy to help you with this!

To better understand the situation, please answer the following questions:

  1. What is the distance between your Nest sensor and your Wi-Fi router?

  2. Does the app display any error messages or codes?

  3. Have you tried checking if there's a Wi-Fi inconvenience? If not, please follow these steps:

    1. Open the Nest app.
    2. Select the thermostat your sensor is connected to on the home screen.
    3. Tap Settings.
    4. Scroll down to the Nest Temperature Sensors list and select the sensor you want to check.
    5. Tap Check connection and follow the instructions to run the test.

Once you've completed the test, please let me know the results.

I look forward to your response.

Regards,

Manuel
