Brand new Nest Gen 2, no heat

Brand new system.  Replacing a fully functional honeywell unit.  Connected the red wire to the Rc and White to W1.  Unit says testing, heat should be flowing.  No heat.  The heat system works fine.  Reconnect the honeywell and heat is working just as before.

Also Nest unit only displays 6 digits, while the Nest App is asking for 7

What was the outside temperature?  Was it below 40?  

I’m having about the same problem. I think it’s in the temperature balance settings. It cuts out the outside unit when the temperature falls below a certain temperature. https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9248719?hl=en#zippy=%2Cchange-heat-pump-balance-setting...

@LotusBob, thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. Let’s check this out. What type of Nest thermostat do you have? Also, if I may ask, do you have a multimeter?
