Are you saying that the Nest bypass the outside unit at 25 degrees and
then run exclusively on heat strips sending no W call signal to the
outside unit?
What was the outside temperature? Was it below 40? I’m having about the
same problem. I think it’s in the temperature balance settings. It cuts
out the outside unit when the temperature falls below a certain
temperature.
