Hey Agatha,

Having your device disconnect is not ideal. I would be more than happy to help you out and ensure you are able to control the device using your phone. Do you mind me asking what troubleshooting steps you have tried? Could you try logging out and logging back into the app? I have found a helpful article with more details. Please let me know if that helps.

Hi ljassim,

Thanks for being a step ahead of us. A few questions: what type of Nest Thermostat do you have? You can visit this link to check what type of thermostat you have. What is the exact message or code you keep receiving? Please provide your thermostat power readout.

You can follow these guides:

Nest Learning Thermostat and Nest Thermostat E:

  1. Go to your thermostat Quick View menu.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Look for Technical Info.
  4. Select Power.

Nest Thermostat 2020:

  1. Open the Google Home app and then tap the thermostat and then tap Settings .
  2. Select the Device Information.
  3. Choose Technical Information.

Best,

Jenelyn

Hey Grace97,

Could you please follow the guide above as well and share with us your Nest Thermostat power readout? It will help us to isolate the issue further.

Jenelyn

Hello folks,

@ljassim, I don't want to be a nudge, but I'd like to check if you were able to get your thermostat working in the app. Feel free to reach out again if you still need help.

Thanks for looking into this, Jenelyn.

Best regards,
Mark
