Upgraded from Nest 2 to 4, wired it exactly the same as the previous version, but the new Nest will not connect to the app. Suggestions?
Blue tooth is on, and no Nest device is visible
WiFi is set correctly
Nest display has message saying Continue Setup in Google Home App
Going through Nest setup, rather than Matter, as I can’t locate an 11-21 Matter code to connect?
Using the QR code from the back of the display - but I get an error saying this isn’t the code I’m looking for.
When I enter the key below the QR code, it acts like it’s trying to connect, but does not.

EDIT:
In the Google Home app, when you get to the screen to select the device, mine only showed older Nest device, and just plain Nest device, but did NOT show the Nest 4th Gen as an option. I had to delete the app, reinstall, sign back in, and there it was. Set up went perfectly after that. Hopefully, this helps someone else experiencing the same issue.

Yes there was an update to the Google Home app. Update the app in the App Store and then run again. I did find that the Gen 4 was buried in an additional menu which was annoying. Scanning the QR code for a Matter device will not connect your Gen 4 correctly, you need to use the Thermostat option.
