Can’t see temps or settings on app

Before we get started with further troubleshooting, let me ask you some important questions:

  1. What Nest Thermostat model do you have?
  2. Does the thermostat display show any error codes or messages?
  3. Have you followed any troubleshooting already?
  4. What is the make and model of your phone or tablet?
  5. What is the mobile device’s operating system?
  6. What is the Nest app version?
  7. When did you first encounter the issue? Does it happen often?

Meanwhile, please check the following basic troubleshooting steps:

Internet connectivity:

  1. Check your internet connection: Make sure your phone and your Nest thermostat are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  2. Restart your router: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.

Nest App issues:

  1. Update the Nest app: Ensure you're using the latest version of the app.
  2. Clear app cache and data: This can help resolve temporary glitches.
  3. Reinstall the app: If the issue persists, try reinstalling the app.

Thermostat issues:

  1. Restart your thermostat: A simple restart can sometimes fix software glitches.

This all was fine till I tried to migrate to google.  Now thermostat works fine but no longer can see temps and settings in the nest app.
