I cannot add Nest Learning Thermostat to the Google Home App.
When I try to add it, I get the following message after scanning the QR code on the thermostat
Unable to start device pairing. Configuration not available
Can anyone help.

I also am running into difficulties, mine has no qr symbol or activation code.

You can setup using the Nest App rather than Google Home without having to scan the QR code. The device setup on the thermostat will give you a pairing code for the Nest App.

I found that out after I posted, I am looking for a way to have the controls all in one place though.

I just found out that the NEST LEARNING THERMOSTST cannot be installed from the GOOGLE HOME APP and can only installed using the NEST APP. Initially after installing with the NEST APP it was not showing up in the GOOGLE HOME APP and thus I could not connect it to ALEXA.
I dont know what I did, but it suddenly showed up in GOOGLE HOME APP and now I have enable partner connections for Alexa.
Thanks
