Cannot link cellphone to thermostat

I lost my internet a few days ago. It has now been restored but I can't link my cellphone app to the thermostat again.

To better understand the situation, I'd like to ask a few questions:

In the meantime, let's check a few things:

  • Check Wi-Fi Connection: Ensure both your phone and Nest Thermostat are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Interference: Electronic devices like microwaves and cordless phones can sometimes interfere with your thermostat's Wi-Fi signal.
  • Disconnect the Nest device from the app: Go to Settings > Reset > Account connection. Follow these steps to Reset your Nest Thermostat.
  • Reconnect the Nest thermostat: After the factory reset, you should reconnect the thermostat to your Wi-Fi network. Ensure a stable connection before adding it to the app.
