I tried to set some automations linked to nest temperature sensors, so that instead of switching on the AC, I can just switch on a fan in the room where it's hotter. But to my surprise nest thermometers are not showing up as starters in home automations. Why aren't they showing up as starters and has anyone found any work around for this

Hi @Ruthwik!
Thanks for posting in the community.
I apologize for the inconvenience you're experiencing when attempting to create an automation using your Nest temperature sensors as starters. I can see that when you are trying to create this automation and choosing the starter, you can’t see the sensors. Let me help you with this.
To better assist you, I need some extra information. Here are some questions for you:
Keep in mind that Nest temperature sensors are specially designed to provide information to the Nest thermostat and to be used as single devices. However, you can use a third-party temperature sensor to create the desired automation.
You can check this article for further information about how to create advanced automations: Create advanced home automations with the script editor.
I’ll be waiting for your response.
Regards,
Daniel.

Household routines, and I don't see an option of selecting temperature sensor, I only see the thermostat.
Nest learning thermometer 3. Same gen temperature sensors as well
What steps can I take, if it's not showing up it's not showing up
No will it be exposed to automations if I use script editor??
