My thermostat won't link to my wifi anymore, I used to be able to use the app but have been unable to for a long time now. The thermostat would work properly, adjusting temp as I changed it and now it says it needs to charge or it needs to shut down. I can't get it to stay on long enough to fully troubleshoot it. Any suggestions? Known issues?

I am having the exact same issue. There has been no wifi connection for 9 months+, and yesterday night it shut down completely. I charged via USB for 4 hours, but when I put it on the base, it keeps saying it needs to charge & immediately shuts down. I also plugged into my computer, as I saw a Nest post that advised doing this--it does load/show up on my computer when I do this...but I am not sure if that's good or back. I have a C wire & none of the wires look like they have any visible issues/reduced integrity. I am at a loss as to what else to do - and it's 90 degrees in my house right now 😞
