Hello,
I've bought the Google Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd Generation
I'm just wondering if the thermostat is compatible with my current set up:
Currently the heating is an Daikin Altherma Air to water Heat Pump, this being controlled by a Centaurplus C17 Series 2. And in each room we have Honeywell Home Wired Room Thermostat.
Would it simply just be a case of changing out the Centaurplus unit and installing the Nest thermostat and installing the Nest unit in replacement of 1 of the honeywell thermostats?
How would this work with the other Honeywell thermostats?
Kind Regards

Hi Userjb40,
Thanks for reaching out! I understand that you need help checking compatibility. No worries, I'm here to help.
In general, the Nest Learning Thermostat is compatible with Honeywell's wire configuration. To assist you better, could you send a picture of your current thermostat's wire labels? This will help me verify compatibility and explain to you how to connect the wires to the Nest Learning Thermostat.
I will be waiting for your response.
Regards,
Manuel

Hi Userjb40,
Thanks for replying and sending the picture. I checked it, and unfortunately, the system you have is not compatible with the Nest Learning Thermostat. This is because your system uses high voltage, while the Nest Thermostat is designed for low voltage systems (specifically, it requires 24 volts to function properly).

Manuel
