I have a nest thermostat with a remote sensor. I would like the thermostat to consider all sensors for maintaining safety temperature (this seems like it would be a logical default because you don't want any part of your house to freeze ever), but it seems only to consider the selected sensor. Is it possible to change this?

That article does not have any info about the topic, but I did get the answer, which I'll add here:
- All control, including maintaining the safety temperature, is based on the selected sensor.
- There is not a way to change this (I personally consider this a pretty serious omission, but it is working as intended as far as the manufacturer is concerned).
