E102 error code please help

Chamel86

I’ve had my nest thermostat for 5+ years with no issue. Accidentally, set the heat on Aux Heat instead of the regular heat setting. Been getting the E102 error code. I reset the thermostat, I’ve removed and reconnected with W1 wire. It works for a short period of time then I get the same E102 error. Not sure if there’s an issue with the thermostat or my ac unit. Please help.

Hey Chamel86,

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries, we'll check this out. What type of Nest thermostat do you have? What is the make and model of your heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment? How many wires are there? How are they labelled? Are the power breakers on and are you receiving power to your home? Are all the wires firmly seated into the terminals? (No loose, or exposed wires) Does the thermostat charge with a USB cable? Also, what country are you located in?

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,
Archie
