My Nest is set to 72 degrees during the day (heating) and goes down to 65 at 10:00 PM for overnight. I know Nest has a feature called "early on" to get the house to a certain temp by a certain time. But I think this should also work in reverse.
Let's assume it's 9:55 PM, and my house is 71 degrees. The setting is going to change to 65 degrees in 5 minutes. The furnace should not kick on.
Does anyone know a way to make this happen? Iv'e checked all the settings I can find, but have not found this one.
Thanks!

I have not found anything to support this. I just adjusted my schedule to select a lower temp starting at 8:30 PM instead of 10:00PM so the house starts to cool down earlier and stands a better chance of reaching my desired lower temp by bedtime.
Of course, you could set the mode to Heat*Cool and it would switch to cooling mode automatically at 10:00 PM to bring the temp down fast. Probably not too smart of a thing to do in the dead of winter though. 😉
