Eco mode and Google assistant

This infuriates me beyond end. If my house is set into eco mode, which it does by itself, and I tell Google Assistant "warm up my house" it responds by telling me it's in eco mode and does nothing. what mode do you think I want to set in?? If the nest thermostat is set to eco mode and I say cool down my house, then what mode should it be set in? When the Google Assistant responds by telling me here that it needs to be set in a different mode after I've given it a command with enough instructions to accomplish it, it makes Google Assistant look dumb, limited, and low quality. 

 

If it's set on eco mode and I give it a command like "warm up the house," it can say 'changing the house thermostat from eco to heat mode'. And then complete my command by warming up the house. Having a command like "warm up the house" is useless because the thermostat switches to eco mode so often that I might as well issue two commands as required which is set "house to heat" which it then puts into heat mode, but it leaves it at the same temperature so it does not warm up the house. I didn't have to give it a second command of "warm up the house". Having to issue two commands to accomplish one task makes Google Assistant look and feel very unpolished.

 

Basically one command should be needed to switch the house out of ecomode into either heat or cool and then cool or heat the house as reques
