Error linking Nest Account with Google

I have an old nest account and just got a new google nest. When trying to migrate to a google account I get the error: “an unexpected error has occurred” 

I have tried to migrate several times within the nest app and once when trying to add it to my Amazon Alexa skill, every time I have gotten the same error. Any tips to get the link to go through?

Unfortunately I don't have a solution for you, but I feel your pain.  Here is another thread on this issue

Thanks for posting in the Google Nest Community forum. I'm sorry for the delay. Are you using a Google Account or email to migrate from Nest to Google? Uninstalling and reinstalling your Nest app might help. Also, try to use a different device to log in to the app.
