Failing Nest

My new Nest is constantly giving me problems. To start, schedules keep appearing in the app. causing the heat to increase dramatically. Secondly, the AC keeps coming on and will not turn off.  Mind you, it's in the 30's outside! The only way to turn it off is to do a hard reset.  The app nor the thermostat itself will do it.  I'm beyond frustrated and my bill is getting higher due to these malfunctions.  If I could return this product, I would.  Installers have already been out twice.  Is there hope or should I go with a different product?

I'm sorry to hear about the ongoing issues you're experiencing with your Nest Thermostat. Dealing with malfunctions like schedules appears unexpectedly and the AC not turning off can indeed be frustrating, especially when it starts impacting your energy bills. But I'd be happy to take a look at this for you.

Do you notice any intervals when the system turns on randomly? Did you create a temperature schedule? Also, have you checked the routines in the Google Home app to see if there are any thermostat actions available? Try to edit them if needed or remove them permanently to avoid unexpected system activation.
