Faulty nest thermostat

Hello, I have bought a new v3 thermostat, it looks as if I have a faulty thermostat as the options are not selecting when I turn the dial. I would like to know the steps I can take to get a replacement. Note I have paid an engineer to install the heatlink, so I am looking for a replacement thermostat dial . Thanks

Just to confirm, when you rotate the dial and press it, the options do not change? For example, you want to access the Settings in the Menu, you press on the dial, but it doesn't access the Settings?
