I have a few temperature sensors that connect to my Nest thermostat. I would like to be able to set a ‘minimum’ temperature for all the sensors and thermostat which would ensure that all rooms maintain a minimum temperature during winter. And similarly for cooling, add a ‘maximum’ temperature so that all rooms stay below it.
Currently NEST only allows using one sensor.

I would like this also. It should use min/max from all sensors for the safety range that is set. It would be nice to be able to set the time range more granularly than morning, mid-day, evening, night. Maybe pick which sensor is used for each point added to the schedule.
Most house hvac systems heat houses differently depending on how open each vent is, the ducting size, insulation, etc. having a min/max would be nice for safety mode. I'm not sure how it could be programmed other than safety temps override comfort temps.
