Is the First Generation NEST still supported by NEST and getting updates?

Hey Railfan, 

Thanks for reaching out. Yes, we still support and update our Nest Learning Thermostats 1st Gen. Your thermostat should automatically install the update if one is available as long as it is connected to a power source and to a strong WiFi network.. You don't need to do anything. However, you can manually update the software on your thermostat by following the steps here: https://bit.ly/35hYkNu
