Tried to set up thermostat the other day. Was about 95 degrees outside. Set it up, left for an hour with it set to 69 on cooling and came back, was 85 degrees inside lol.It said it detected all 6 wires. Had to throw the old thermostat back on. Local HVAC company told me $363 to have it wired up.
Making sure I wired this correctly, how does this look? (Don’t know if it’s important but I have a heat pump). Also, black wire was never connected to anything. I’ll try to post the photo here in a second.

Hi, @Cnelsen74 ,
Thank you so much for posting in the community and sharing pictures of your thermostats. I’m happy to assist you.

Let me know how it goes.
Best regards,
Ana.
