Gen4 Nest Thermostats not showing in Google Home for web

uberskier

I recently upgraded my three gen2 thermostats to gen4. On my desktop browser/ "Google Home for web" the Nests are not available.

On my phone, I see the Nests and can control the Nests from Google Home (I validated that the app was the most updated one).

I'm running the most updated version of Chrome on my desktop (137.0.7151.56 (Official Build) (64-bit)). The system is Windows 11 (home) 64 bit.

Other info that may be relevent or not:

  • I was using the pubic preview of Home. I exited it after I installed the new Nests and they weren't displayed (the G2 versions were never displayed either).
  • No G4 Nests show up on my Nest app (web or phone), which is what I expected.
  • All Google Home and Nest accounts are the same gmail.
  • I do see my cameras in the Google Home web app.

  • Time on the desktop is automatic.

Thanks in advance for any assistance,

Eric

Hi @uberskier,

Thank you for posting in the community. I understand you're unable to monitor or control your three Nest Learning Thermostats (4th Gen) using either the Google Home for web or the Nest web app. I appreciate the relevant information you've shared. I'll be happy to share more information with you.

Regarding your concern, please note that the option to control your Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen) through a website isn't available. This device is primarily designed to be managed using the Google Home app. I suggest sending us feedback to improve our service and provide a better experience. We'll carefully review requests for potential inclusion in future updates.

I hope this information helps!

Best regards.

Derick.
