Google Home Away routine doe not trigger eco

My Google Home Away routine is set to turn my nest thermostat to eco but I cannot get it to work properly.

When I leave it registers that and sets the home to 'Away'; however, the thermostat remains on heat mode. 

Any ideas on what to try?

Same here. It drives me crazy.

Even when I come back home, it doesn't seem to change to heat mode. It was working perfectly last winter. 

I tried to change the device that trigger in the nest app (thermostat : no / iphone : yes). But when I come back in the google home app , in presence sensing settings, it says that "another" phone is used. "Do you want to use this phone ?"

Which app triggers the other one ? I thought that the google account was supposed to let them synchronised. Anyway, one or another, both settings doesn't work properly.
