Google Nest Installation Reimbursement Not Received - 18 days passed!

We had problems with our Nest Thermostat for over a month and we was told that the Wi-Fi chip had stopped working in it and we needed a new Thermostat.  When we received the new Thermostat it would not pair with our old heat link so we had to pay for an engineer to come out and install the new Thermostat and a new Heatlink.  We made payment to the engineer  on 26 July and were told by Google they would reimburse us for this cost to the engineer however that was over 18 days ago and still no reimbursement has been received.  I have contacted Google and they are incompetent - they are not communicating with their finance team and telling me that I need to wait "some more days" which is an unacceptable time frame because it does not say how many days and means they can simply mess the customer around. How much longer to I have to wait for this money which has left us out of pocket because their device was faulty in the first place? I have asked them to be more precise with when the reimbursement will come into my bank account and they said that their team can't advise a time frame! Well then speak to the team who can advise on a timeframe!
