Google Nest Reading Higher Temps In House

Just confused on my setup and understanding of the product. I installed my Google Nest where my old thermostat was and it was a simple plug and play, however, my thermostat is reading that it is 78 degrees in here even tho my other household thermostats are reading 70. I did read something about the heat link but all I see is information on hooking up to a boiler however i have gas furnace forced air heat so I am a little lost. Do i need the heat link and if so where and how do i hook up?

Hi there,

Thanks for posting in the Google Nest Community forum. I'm sorry for the delay. Could you please provide the values of VIN and VUSB by going to your Nest Thermostat Settings then look for Technical info and select Power?

Best,
Jenelyn
