Google nest thermostat

Does this work with a 4 wire system? I have red green yellow and white. The red wire on my current thermostat seems to connect twice from what I can see.

Hello Daddydaycare178,

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your inquiry. I'd be happy to take a look at this for you.

Does the red wire on your thermostat have a jumper wire? If so, Nest Thermostats don't require jumper wires as they have them built into their displays. You can connect the power wire to the R terminals depending on what Nest Thermostat model you have. Please have a look at this article about thermostat jumper wires and let us know if you need more help.

Regards,

Mark
