I found this topic 'AWAY mode does not stop heating schedule, continues to turn on heating even though no one in house.' in the archives but I cannot find an actual answer.
I also expect that "away" should keep the heat at whatever I make "away" set it to, even when a scheduled event later would change the temperature.
I don't see this happening, and reading through the answers doesn't tell me if my settings are wrong, or if the nest can't do it.
