Heat flow temperature

Shaymen
Community Member

My combi boiler heating flow temperature is reading a different temperature to my nest thermostat in the pro set up settings. Although I can alter the temperature on the thermostat this isn't reflected on the boiler. The boiler still remains at 80c. When I try and alter it on the boiler it still remains at 80c. Anyone know why this is? Thank you.

Hi there, @Shaymen.

Thanks for reaching out. Could you please send us a picture of the thermostat and the boiler readings so we can see the difference?

Hi @DragosC

Apologies for the late reply as I am on holiday! Therefore, unfortunately I can't take any photos. The heating flow temperature on the boiler is 80C and the heating flow temperature on the pro settings on the thermostat stat is set at 75C and is on open therm. Unfortunately altering the heating flow temperature dial on the boiler and nothing I do on the thermostat changes the heating flow temperature on the boiler. What pictures do I need to send from the thermostat? Thank you.

Understood. Thank you for the explanation. We'll wait for the picture of the thermostat and the boiler readings so we can see the difference.

Hi @DragosC what pictures do you need to see? Thank you

My colleague is looking for pictures from the boiler itself, where you have the flow temperature and one from the thermostat display, where you see the temperature in the Pro settings.

Hi, I don't appear to have an option for attaching photos to this reply?! I only have an option for adding a url link.

Hi, I wanted to check in. Did you receive the email from my colleague?

Hi @AlexD I have a plumber coming out this week to install a new connection for a washing machine and to service the boiler. He has fitted a few nest thermostats and also uses one in his own home. Therefore, he has said he would look at the issue and to check the set up of the thermostat. Thank you for your support so far.
