Heat link no power

I have had a Nest thermostat 3rd Gen.  Thermostst is on a stand and connected with heat link.  My power went of and when it came back on the heat link unit would not start. No lights. Tried reset but pushing in the button does nothing completely dead.  Reading the forums it seems this is a known issue but you can't buy a heat link separately.

Any advise of how to sort this without costing the earth. If these things cost so much and only last 2 years, I will put on a 60 quid honeywell thermostat that will last forever.
