Folks,
I am not sure if anyone has a solution to this problem or if anyone has ever wanted their heating system to behave they way I want mine to... Anyhow here goes...
We had an old oil fired boiler heating system which when ON heated the radiators and also the hot water cylinder at the same time. The boiler packed in so we got a replacement (not brand new) and while installing it the plumber split the heating system and the hot water system so they could be run independently. And they do work independently... And therein lies the issue...
When the heating is on, the hot water tank does not heat automatically (like it did previously) unless I manually boost the hot water circuit via the app or the thermostat.
Is there any way to set the hot water circuit to always run while the heating is on instead of manually boosting it?
It sounds like a simple app change could fix this but is there a workaround?
