For the last 4 days, my heat has stayed on but is not heating the house. Right now the thermostat says my house if 61°F and I normally keep my house at 65 in the winter. It is not reaching temperature.
I just had my HVAC tune-up in Feb, and confitmed all systems were working properly and I have enough frion.
I reset the thermostat and it did not help. Then I reset the circuit breakers and when the system turned back on, the thermostat said my house was at 71°F, then it quickly fell to 60°F within 15mins or so, and heat kicked on, but again my house did not get warmer and the system stayed on for hours before I turned it off.
I completely factory reset the thermostat and programmed all settings again, removed and re-added device to my Nest app. This did not help.
There is power to the thermostat, as I checked those settings as well. The last software update says March. I hope a software update did not mess up my system.
All wiring looks fine and not corroded or broken. Air is blowing through vents. I have forced air and only the single thermostat.
This was installed before I bought the house, so the Nest is at least 7years old. My HVAC system is 4 years old. The thermostat is adequately placed in the upstairs hallway.

Also, my heat pump setting is set to each cycle as suggested in the online troubleshooting guide.
