Help! Need a larger back wallplate for the Google nest learning thermostat 4th gen

I have the old gen 2 version of nest with the square (6” x 4 1/2”) back plate, now yellowed over the years.  I just received my upgrade order, I bought the newest Google nest learning thermostat 4th gen, in polished silver.  It came with an oval plate that will not cover the corners of where my old plate was.  The paint is old and I can’t do any touch up.   Is there any wall plate that I can buy that would fit this new model, cover the entire old model so no touch ups, and look at all decent?  Help!

Thank you so much for posting in this community. I understand that you'd like to get a larger Trim plate for your Nest Learning Thermostat 4th Gen to properly fit and cover the wall, as your previous thermostat did. I’m happy to share more information with you.

Regarding your question, the Nest Learning Thermostat 4th Gen Trim plate is originally available in only one design made for this device. However, you may be able to acquire a compatible trim kit from a third-party retailer for this model.
