I have a Nest Thermostat, approx 4 years old and while it works manually, it no longer links to the ap on my smartd phone (Android) which it did for a long time. On the thermostat itself, it' shows that I am connected to my home WiFi network. When I call the installed Nest ap on my phone, Ican not connet and I get this message: Access blocked: Nest's request does not complyh with Google's policies.
I am typing this on a Windows 11 desktoop computer and trying to connect via a Chrome browser but unalbe to connect with Nest and the nest user name and PW does not seem to exist.
I woluld like to be able to connect via the phone. What I think may have happened is that there was some migration from Nest to Google and I've never done this or been able.
Help will be greatlyl appreiated

Hi Joevl,
Thanks for posting in the Community! Sorry to hear that you can’t connect your Nest Thermostat to your Nest App and for getting the “Access blocked: Nest's request does not comply with Google's policies.” error message. No worries, help is here! If you can’t connect to the app but your thermostat says “connected to the internet,” it might be linked to an account already. Please try these steps that might help you:
However, if you’re having a hard time signing on the website version, let’s take a look at this article to Troubleshoot Nest app sign-in issues.
Let me know how it goes.

Axel.
