Holiday Eco mode.

When I go on holiday, I want to be able to turn my stat to Eco mode so that temperature is reduced while I’m away. Just before I return I want to be able to turn off eco-mode and get back to the normal heating mode using my schedule. Can I do this remotely from my app if I am not at home. I know this start will go into eco-mode automatically when I’m not there but I don’t want to have to turn it back on manually after I’ve walked into a cold house. So can you tell me how to  Use my iPhone mobile nest phone app to do this.

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for the delay. A few questions: what type of Nest Thermostat do you have? In what country are you located? I'd like to help. 

 

You can follow the guide below to change Home/Away Assist settings:

 

  1. Open the Nest app.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Select Home/Away Assist.
  4. Choose What decides if you're at home.
  5. Select Use phone location.
