Can anyone help we have just recently installed a Nest 3rd Gen when installed the Electrician mentioned he could not switch off heat water although it was displayed on thermostat as off plus on the ipad. I read posts regarding this issue and switched Bacteria Prevention to off. The hot water is still continuing to be on despite our efforts even with lowering the temperature on the tank.Is this a fault on the Nest will it be resolved by getting a replacement ? We may resort to installing our original thermostat If all else fails.
