I have a nest learning thermostat, got it in Sept 2021 it worked fine all this time. I tried to use the AC and it only blows hot air. I called an HVAC company and their tech said it was the nest thermostat not switching the valve over to ac for some reason.

the unit is a single stage heat pump with an auxiliary heat and emergency heat.

Thanks, I called customer service and it turned out to be a faulty thermostat. A replacement is on its way.
