How do I get discount code for new thermostat?

I have received notice on my app that my thermostat will no longer be supported after next week.  I should receive an email with discount code to get a new thermostat.  I have not received an email yet.

HELP

(not sure if I have 1st or 2nd generation, app does not say)

I am trying to find out but can't seem to get information.  Doesn't bode well for when the support is discontinued.

my question is, if I purchase their gen 4 nest. How long before that one stops getting support as well?

I have already filled this out twice and still no response. Poor customer service.
