How possible can I use the Nest Thermostat like a smart clock and weather reading?

Hi.

i am new to Nest Thermostat. I have intention to get the Nest Thermostat (4th gen), however with intention to use it as a clock, weather reading, and / or display the room temperature. 
hence, I would like to know how do I power the nest thermostat in my case? Thank you.
