I have a new phone and after transferring my data, I have to now "add product" on the Nest app. I am unable to because as we all know by now, the nest key code does not show up on the thermostat if already connected. How do I get this key code? I considered resetting the nest but do not have complete confidence that it will resolve the issue and I do not want to chance it while it is cold out.

Just open and sign into whichever app you use (Nest/Google Home), and everything will show up like it was on your other phone. You do not need to add anything. It's as simple as that.
