I am looking to extend the maintenance band (an off-on delay) for controlling my two-stage compressor.

@gchernis , The way that the thermostat and a one stage and two stage compressor work is as follows. When the desired temperature is more than 3° below the current ambient room temperature. It will put the thermostat to activate stage two cooling. The stage cool cooling it activates the valve inside the Compressor to open up a port and allow more refrigerant to flow. This temperature variance is defined by the ACR community and therefore it cannot be adjusted by a consumer or even a professional. It’s set at 3°.

My concern is to reduce short cycling for reasons other than the temperature. I'd love to see a 10 minute delay from the moment AC compressor is off to the moment it's on again.
