Yesterday I installed Nest Learning Thermostat just for it's beauty and removed my existing Thermostat from honeywell for which I was not having any complains. AC unit was working fine for several years until install of Google Nest Learning Thermostat.
Right after install and app config I observed I was getting hot air from vent when Nest was set to cool 75F and before I check Nest settings I heard blast sound from condensor unit outside and unit stopped working. Technician is here investigating I will keep this thread posted. But very confident Nest has the issue which caused unit to fail

Can you post a picture of the original thermostat's wiring and one of how you wired the Nest?

Hi Jag79,
Thanks for posting and sorry to hear that something went wrong in your system when you installed the Nest Thermostat. No worries, help is here! Checking the photos of your previous and current wiring, It seems to be all perfect. I'd like to ask you if your HVAC technician already checked it?
Keep me posted.
Regards,
Axel.
